I'm Kaylee Murphy, the storyteller and filmmaker behind Mylife Media Videography. Videography has always been a huge passion of mine. I have been behind the camera since I was in middle school and love every minute of it. In 2013, I filmed my first wedding and did a lot of projects for people here and there...and for myself (because who doesn't love making videos of all the mems to look back on later!!). After a lot of thinking, prayers, and encouragement from my husband and family, at the end of 2019, I decided to take this fun hobby of mine and create a business. I am beyond blessed and so thankful to all of the couples who have trusted me to capture their love stories and one of the best days of their lives.
A little about me: I am a small-town girl who runs on Starbucks, Jesus, and tacos! In addition to wedding videography, I run my own marketing company, KM & Co. Marketing. When I'm not working, I enjoy singing, vlogging, and being surrounded by family and friends. I love spending time with my husband, Collin "Bear," our dogs Duck & Opie, our crazy cat, Goose, and our sweet kiddos, Hayes, Rilynn Jean, & Georgie!
It is so important to me to capture every moment on film, so I will always have it to treasure. Whether I'm on vacation, at a special event, or just spending time with my people, I'm there filming every moment. Because videography is so special to me, I strive to make every experience with all of my brides and clients as smooth as possible. Most clients don’t know I’m the oldest of three sisters and that I’ve been singing since I was 4. My sisters and I are known as "The Ruark Sisters." We used to travel to different churches singing gospel music together. I’ve always loved music- Carrie Underwood is my favorite, and my favorite song of all-time is How Great Thou Art. You’ll may catch me humming or singing while I work!
From a bride's perspective, I know how important it was to have my own wedding filmed. By having my wedding day filmed, I was able to go back and relive that day over and over, and see parts of the day that I hadn't seen. It was so important to me for someone to capture all the little details of the day. I will cherish our wedding video forever.
